Use it with the right version.

Keep the fields separate

• Fibre composition: list the actual fibre percentages for the selected fabric.
• Construction: describe knit or woven structure and the reference used.
• Weight: record GSM or another stated unit against the material reference.
• Finish: name the requested wash or functional treatment separately.
• Testing: record the method, sample scope, result and date only when evidence exists.

When comparing alternatives

Compare material references under the same conditions. A similar colour or weight does not prove that two fabrics have the same drape, stretch, finish or test result.
