Before production
Confirm the current sample or reference, measurement table, fabric and trim references, artwork, colour and size mix. Record who approved each item.
PRODUCTION / PACKING / HANDOVER
Once the order is agreed, production and delivery depend on the exact reference, checks, packing instructions and destination responsibilities written into that order.
Confirm the current sample or reference, measurement table, fabric and trim references, artwork, colour and size mix. Record who approved each item.
Agree the checks, sampling method and reporting responsibility for the order. Keep any issue and disposition linked to the affected style or batch.
Check the agreed inspection record, quantity reconciliation, labels, assortment, carton marks and packing list. Resolve open points against the order terms.
Separate the production completion date from dispatch and transit estimates. At arrival, compare cartons and quantities with the documents and record visible differences.
Confirm individual packing, garment labels, size and colour identification, set contents, carton assortment and marks before these instructions are used.
State what is checked, when it is checked, which party reviews the result and what record will be shared. Do not treat a generic certificate as order inspection.
Use the written order to identify freight terms, document responsibilities, destination and who handles receipt or discrepancy reports.
One date should not stand in for the entire delivery schedule.
PREPARE THE HANDOVER
Use the colour and size matrix to make quantities easier to check before production is released.
